Shutter Heights Increased

Client had several shutters 4.7m in height but due to chances in their operation meant that higher doors would benefit and increase the efficiency of the business. We studied the existing doors and motors drive system. This established that the existing set up could cater for an increase in clear height of up to 7m.

Structural steel work was removed and refitted at the new height, the shutter roller and brackets were raised, side guides extended and more laths fitted. Then the external cladding was cut and the necessary infill pieces of Plastisol cladding were fitted leaving new opening of 7.0m clear height.
